Alexander Lukashenko Claims He Has No Friends Other Than Vladimir Putin
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has stated that he considers his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, not only a friend but also a friend of the whole Belarusian people. At the same time, according to Lukashenko, he has no other friends.
This information was reported by the RIA Novosti agency.
"Yes, I consider him my friend, and this year he confirmed that he is not only my friend but also a friend of the Belarusian people," Lukashenko said during a broadcast on the Russia-1 TV channel.
When asked if he has other friends, Lukashenko responded negatively: "This is a complex question, I have thought about it many times and come to the conclusion that probably not," he replied.
At the same time, Lukashenko noted that he has "many opponents," but whether any of them have become enemies will be shown by time.
