"No One Cares About Our Situation": Parents of Missing Soldiers Camped Out in Tents
Parents of missing soldiers from Army Unit N of Ejmiadzin have spent the night in tents outside the military base. In an interview with Tert.am, the mother of missing soldier Vardan Adoian, Anahit Adoian, stated:
“No one has come to us, the commander also did not come, saying he was at the Ministry of Defense until 1 PM. They are lying, only lying. No one cares about our situation,” she said.
Mrs. Anahit emphasized that they will continue their sit-in protest until they receive a clear answer. “Our sons need to be returned. They are doing nothing; we know more than they do. We need to force them to work,” she added.
It should be noted that the parents of missing soldiers have been on a sit-in for the third day, stating that they have not received any information about their sons for 82 days. According to the parents, the number of those missing from their sons' group is 40.
