Contract Soldiers Will Continue Service, Demobilization to Occur as Scheduled: RA Armed Forces
Unverified and panic-inducing information about the Armed Forces of Armenia continues to spread actively in the media and social networks. One media outlet reported that several military units from Armenia and Artsakh had alerted that the demobilization of conscripts who have completed their service was not being conducted.
The Information Verification Center at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has confirmed that this news is not true.
Mobilization and demobilization will proceed as scheduled and according to established procedures.
Today, a report from the Mediaport Telegram channel was also refuted regarding claims that contract soldiers received notices of termination of their employment contracts. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia states that the disseminated information is false.
