47 Babies Born in Gegharkunik Region During the First Week of January
During the first week of January this year, 47 babies were born in the Gegharkunik region. This information was provided by the Gegharkunik Regional Administration.
On January 1, 2021, there were 8 births recorded in healthcare facilities providing maternity care in the Gegharkunik region, consisting of 5 boys and 3 girls. All 8 children were born at the Martuni Maternity Hospital.
From January 1 to January 8, a total of 47 babies were born in Gegharkunik’s medical institutions, including 29 boys and 18 girls. Out of these, 34 births were registered at the Martuni Maternity Hospital, 6 births at the Sevan Medical Center, and 3 births each at the Gavar Medical Center and the Vardenis Hospital. No births have yet been recorded this year at the Chambarak Health Center.
