Syunik Governor Publishes Data on Fallen and Missing Residents in the War
Syunik Governor Melikset Poghosyan has published data regarding the fallen and missing residents of Syunik in the recent war in Artsakh. As of December 29 of this year, the number of fallen residents from Syunik stands at 169, while 42 remain missing.
"This New Year and Christmas are exceptional due to the circumstances, and they will be days of remembrance, essentially. Alongside the names of the fallen residents, I raise a prayer to God for the peace of their souls. I also ask for forgiveness from everyone that we could not save their lives... For the first time, I am also publishing the names of the Syunik residents who went missing during the war, hoping that a miracle will happen and they will return safe... To our dozens of compatriots who were wounded in the war, I wish a swift recovery and good health," noted the governor.
