Russia Ready to Organize Meeting Between Representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Lavrov Says

Russia is prepared to organize a meeting between representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan at both the national state level and within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group's activities. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with TASS.

According to the head of Russia's foreign affairs agency, such meetings will take place if the parties are ready for them. Lavrov noted that the current agenda issues include the exclusion of armed clashes, the exchange of the remains of the deceased, the return of captives, as well as ensuring the safety of cultural monuments, regardless of religious affiliation.
