Roads Closed and Impassable in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has announced that there are closed and impassable roads across Armenia.
The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn province are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, difficult to navigate for trucks, but open for passenger vehicles.
In the Kotayk and Syunik provinces, there are patches of black ice on the roads.
Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
Information from the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicates that the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo transportation.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
