Kyiv Refuses to Publish Books by Armenian, Belarusian, and Russian Writers

The Ukrainian Writers' Union has decided to refuse the publication of books by authors from countries that, according to them, have acted against Ukraine's territorial integrity in the UN and other international organizations. According to reports from RIA Novosti, these countries include Armenia, the Russian Federation, and Belarus.

"The Ukrainian Writers' Union has adopted a resolution to cease publishing works by authors from countries that oppose Ukraine's territorial integrity in the UN and other international bodies. These countries include the Russian Federation, Belarus, Venezuela, Armenia, Zimbabwe, Iran, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, China, North Korea, Cuba, Laos, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Serbia, Syria, and Sudan," the statement reads.

It has been noted that there will be exceptions for deceased classic writers from these countries, as well as contemporary writers who openly support Ukraine's territorial integrity and condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation.
