At Least 27 People Killed in Attack on Yemen's Aden International Airport
At least 27 people have been killed in an attack on Yemen's Aden International Airport. This was reported by the Yemeni government representative, according to the Al-Hadas television channel.
RIA Novosti reported that the airport was shelled from Taiz province, which is under the control of the Houthi movement known as Ansar Allah. In a related development, Sky News Arabia reported that a drone was heard near the airport just before the explosion.
Earlier, it was reported that a palace in Aden, where members of Yemen's new government had arrived, was also allegedly hit by a missile strike.
