Electricity Tariffs for 90% of Residential Consumers to Remain Unchanged
The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia has set the electricity tariffs sold to consumers by "Armenia Electric Networks" LLC, which will come into effect from February 1, 2021. Thus, the tariffs for socially vulnerable families and residential consumers with a monthly consumption of up to 400 kWh (approximately 90% of residential consumers) will remain unchanged.
In contrast, tariffs for other consumers will increase by 3 drams/kWh (including VAT). For residential consumers with a monthly consumption exceeding 400 kWh, the following tariffs will apply:
- Day tariff: 47.98 drams/kWh
- Night tariff: 37.98 drams/kWh
For consumers with a 6 (10) kW connection:
- Day tariff: 44.98 drams/kWh
- Night tariff: 34.98 drams/kWh
For consumers with a 35 kW connection:
- Day tariff: 38.98 drams/kWh
- Night tariff: 34.98 drams/kWh
For consumers with a 110 kW connection:
- Day tariff: 36.98 drams/kWh
- Night tariff: 32.98 drams/kWh.
