Disinformation in Alen Simonian's Statement That ANC Is Ready to Discuss Political Situation with Pashinyan

The Armenian National Congress (ANC) considers the statement made by the Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonian, claiming that the ANC is ready to discuss the political situation along with other political forces, as disinformation. This information was communicated to Armenpress by the ANC's press service.

In his press conference on December 29, Vice Speaker Alen Simonian stated the following: "You know, Prime Minister Pashinyan proposed to hold meetings and discuss the political situation with parliamentary and extra-parliamentary representatives, and I am very pleased that both the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), the Bright Armenia Party (LHK), and other parties, which have already announced, for example, the ANC, as well as Arman Babajanyan's party, For the Republic, have declared that they are ready for these discussions."

The Armenian National Congress has not made such a statement; therefore, it is unclear to us what the motivation behind spreading this disinformation is,” the ANC's statement reads.
