Fake Page of Kim Kardashian in Armenian Social Media Attempts to Scam Money

A fake page opened in the Armenian social media sphere in the name of world-famous TV star Kim Kardashian is attempting to steal banking information. This was reported by the Personal Data Protection Agency.

"The fake page under Kim Kardashian's name aims to steal banking data, email addresses, and passwords," states the released announcement.

The agency urges individuals not to believe such posts, not to share, comment on, or transmit any information.

The agency also informs that it is unnecessary to send the three-digit security number of a card to the sender for transferring money, which further indicates that it is a scam. The Personal Data Protection Agency has prepared guidelines on how to protect against phishing attacks.
