Russian Military Doctors Assist Over 700 Residents in Nagorno-Karabakh
More than 700 residents of Nagorno-Karabakh have already received assistance at the field hospital of the Russian Ministry of Defense, with Russian military doctors helping 95 local residents during the day, reports the Russian Defense Ministry.
“The special medical unit of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to provide assistance to the local population both in Stepanakert and in other settlements of Nagorno-Karabakh... In total, more than 700 residents of Nagorno-Karabakh have received quality medical care at the Ministry of Defense's field hospital, including 79 children,” the report states.
It is noted that during the day, Russian military doctors provided assistance to 95 residents of the settlement of Chartar.
“All citizens who applied received consultations and necessary prescriptions from qualified therapists, surgeons, and other specialists at the deployed mobile hospital after examinations,” the report adds.
Local residents typically seek help for various acute chronic diseases, cardiovascular and endocrine system disorders, as well as dental care issues. According to the Defense Ministry, more than 60 military surgeons, anesthesiologists, resuscitation specialists, therapists, and epidemiologists are currently operating in Nagorno-Karabakh.
