The Syunik Regional Administration has released a statement regarding the video circulating online titled "Kapan Residents Are Burning Their Homes." The statement notes, "We inform you that the building depicted in the video is not located in the administrative area of the Kapan community. We urge everyone not to spread panic-inducing information."

It is worth reminding that earlier, Ani Samsonyan, a deputy from the Luysavor Hayastan faction, wrote, "Do you see the smoke under the hill? People in Kapan are burning their homes. And the Azerbaijanis will settle on those hills and take the city in their hands."
