Russian Officer Killed in Shushi: Russian Defense Ministry
A Russian officer has died in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of a landmine explosion. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
"The officer, part of the International Mine Clearance Center's demining team, sustained serious injuries while carrying out mine clearance operations in the Shushi region," the statement said.
The serviceman received emergency medical assistance, but unfortunately, he died on the way to the hospital.
The Russian Defense Ministry has stated that all possible and necessary assistance will be provided to the soldier's family.
