Armenians from Artsakh Are Not Refugees but Displaced in Their Homeland: Arthur Tovmasyan
The Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh, Arthur Tovmasyan, stated on his Facebook page: “Today, I revisited the operational headquarters of the Artsakh government in Armenia, where I met with officials from the Kashatagh regional administration, village heads, and residents. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the issues faced by residents of areas that have come under Azerbaijani control as a result of the third Azerbaijani-Artsakh war.
During the meeting, I addressed the pressing questions of our citizens, expressing my readiness, both officially and as a citizen of Artsakh, to support them in finding solutions to their challenging issues. I found it essential to reiterate that Armenians from Artsakh are not refugees but displaced individuals in their homeland.
Also participating in the meeting was Mikael Virabyan, chief adviser to the President of Artsakh and coordinator of the operational headquarters of the Artsakh government in Armenia, who also responded to the questions of those present.”
