Vazgen Manukyan and His Team Will Not Participate in Snap Elections: Arthur Vanetsyan
After leading Armenia and Artsakh to a disgraceful defeat and bringing the country to the brink of collapse, we currently have only one political corpse occupying the prime minister's seat. This is the political corpse of the prime minister. This was stated today, December 5, at a rally of the 'Homeland Salvation Movement' in Freedom Square by Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the 'Homeland' party.
'The individual occupying that seat has politically died and can no longer show any signs of political life. As a result of Nikol Pashinyan's isolationist policies, it was only Russia that exhibited real allied behavior towards Armenia during the war, which was conditioned by the approach that Russia's ally is not the Armenian authorities but the Armenian people,' he said.
Vanetsyan announced the need to urgently form a government that can preserve what can still be saved for Armenia and Artsakh. 'It is necessary to form a government that will say no to Azerbaijan, as Nikol Pashinyan has proven that he has no will or courage to reject Azerbaijan on any issue. Nikol, you are a surrenderer. We have nominated Vazgen Manukyan, who stands at the roots of our country's independence, as the unified candidate for prime minister,' he stated. He emphasized that Manukyan will be a non-partisan, supra-party prime minister. His task as the leader of a transitional government will be crisis management and the preparation of the country for snap parliamentary elections.
In this regard, we have managed to find an unprecedented resolution for Armenia: Vazgen Manukyan and his political force will not participate in the snap parliamentary elections. Thus, for the first time in Armenian history, the guarantor of free and fair elections will be a subject that does not pursue personal or party interests.
