Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that roads in the territory of Armenia are mainly passable. The roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are difficult to navigate.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

According to information received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo transportation.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
