First Flights from Russia to Artsakh May Begin This December: RIA Novosti
The Republic of Artsakh and Russian authorities are discussing the issue of opening air communication, with the first flights from Russia to the Stepanakert airport potentially taking place as early as December. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a source within the administration of the Republic of Artsakh.
“Currently, both sides are making efforts to ensure this happens,” said the agency’s interlocutor in response to whether it is possible for flights to resume at Stepanakert airport before the end of the year.
He added that there will also be passenger flights to Stepanakert, which are expected to arrive not only from Moscow but also from other regions of Russia.
