Russia Will Support Us Where Possible, Says Nikol Pashinyan
Armenia feels the support of Russia and, according to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, will continue to feel it in the future. This was mentioned by the Prime Minister in an interview with the Interfax news agency.
“Do you expect assistance from Russia, if not military, then in financial terms? Could there be support from Russia, say in the form of providing loans or preferential prices for energy resources? Before the conflict, you were negotiating for a reduction in gas prices. Have these issues been discussed with the head of the Russian government during his visit to Yerevan?” the journalist asked.
In response, Nikol Pashinyan said, “Of course, we discussed economic issues. Now we feel Russia's support, and I am confident that we will continue to feel it, and Russia will support us where it is possible.”
