Serj Tankian Calls for Recognition of Artsakh's Independence by Other Countries

World-renowned rock musician and lead vocalist of System of a Down, Serj Tankian, has addressed the importance of other countries recognizing the independence of Artsakh. He stated, "It is essential for the independence of Artsakh to be recognized by other nations to protect the peaceful residents of Artsakh from the illegal and reckless terrorist actions of Azerbaijan and Turkey." This was posted on Serj Tankian's Facebook page.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh has issued a statement urging the international community to recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh in order to ensure the rights and peaceful development of its citizens.
