Block all users spreading disinformation and panic: Gor Abrahamyan
Gor Abrahamyan, advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, wrote on his Facebook page:
“I want to say the following to all users of social networks, and especially to Facebook users: During a state of war, the state has graciously allowed you to continue using these communication virtual platforms, considering your right to be informed as a priority over serious challenges regarding public information security. DO NOT ABUSE this grace.
You are not an audience; you are not watching a chaotic movie. Do not spread unverified information in public spaces, and do not act like generals or military experts. You must feel and act in the virtual field like fighters—like the soldiers of the Armenian Armed Forces, our children engaged in life-and-death battles, our brothers and friends, soldiers keeping the back of our army.
Block all users spreading disinformation and panic, clean your pages of informational trash, disseminate only official information, and direct your energy towards virtual spaces outside the Armenian domain in line with state directives regarding ongoing wars.
On the contrary, spreading unverified information is treason; it is a blow from behind.”
