Russian Foreign Ministry: The Escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh is Very Dangerous
The escalation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh poses a particular danger, as the parties are using heavy weapons for the first time in several years, stated Andrei Rudenko, Deputy Chief of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“Cooperation in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group is developing quite successfully. We hope that it will yield results in terms of the current escalation of the situation, which is very dangerous, as for the first time since 2016, both parties are using heavy weapons, and there are real casualties,” Rudenko told reporters.
