Abnormal Warm Weather Expected in Several Regions of Russia

Abnormal warm weather is anticipated in several regions of Russia, particularly in Siberia and the Far Eastern Federal District, where temperatures are expected to rise by 3-10 degrees above normal, TASS reported, citing Roman Vilfand, head of the Russian Hydro-Meteorological Center.

“Weather that is significantly above climate norms, nearly 8-10 degrees warmer, is expected in various regions of Siberia and the Far Eastern Federal District. Daytime temperatures are forecasted to range from 12 to 14 degrees. It may not seem particularly warm to us, but it is considered very warm for the locals,” the expert noted.

According to Vilfand, abnormal heat is also anticipated in the Primorsky Krai of the Amur region. “There will be good weather in Primorsky, with temperatures expected to reach 24-25 degrees, while in the Amur region, temperatures are predicted to be around 20 degrees. This is 3-4 degrees above normal,” the head of the Russian Hydro-Meteorological Center emphasized.
