“We must take action against this,” Garegin Miskaryan
Garegin Miskaryan, a member of the Citizens' Decision Social Democratic Party, wrote on his Facebook page: “It happens, doesn't it, that when a family grows, the house becomes too small? It does happen. What do civilized countries do? They sell their house and buy a new one. Or they rent out their small one while renting a bigger one for themselves. Or some family members move out to live separately. What do we Armenians do? We add a room. And it makes no difference whether it’s our own house or an apartment on the fifth floor of a building.
It is difficult to uncover the deep reasons behind our attitude towards public interest, the rules of coexistence, and our disregard for the neighbors living next to us, but it consistently deteriorates our quality of life, and we must take action against this.”
