Putin Deems Any Interference in Belarus' Affairs Unacceptable
Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the unacceptability of any interference in Belarusian affairs during a phone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, according to a statement from the Kremlin's press service.
"The Russian side stresses the unacceptability of any attempts to interfere in the republic's internal affairs from outside, which could lead to further escalation of the crisis," the statement said.
