VIDEO: A Call for Violence Against Armenians and Armenian Migrants in Turkey Appears on Youtube
A video was published on the Youtube social network on July 31, featuring numerous derogatory remarks directed at Armenians and inciting violence against Turkish citizens, as well as Armenians who have moved there for work from Armenia. This was reported by Ermenihaber.
In the video titled "What business do Armenians have in Turkey," published by the MehdiStudio Officall account, the speaker comments on the recent clashes along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and calls for the immediate expulsion of Armenians living in Turkey. According to the commentator, "Armenians truly deserve genocide." He calls for Armenians to be killed, for their heads to be cut off, and promises that when the time comes, they will crush the Armenians of Turkey. He urged everyone not to allow Armenians to come to their country, work, and send money back to Armenia.
The Armenian newspaper "Agos" in Istanbul reported that Simon Chekem, the chairman of the executive board of the Beyoğlu 3 Khoran Church foundation and a lawyer, has appealed to the Istanbul public prosecutor's office regarding the video, demanding a suitable response from the relevant authorities.
