Armenia Ready to Provide Immediate Assistance to Lebanon: Zohrab Mnatsakanyan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, has expressed condolences regarding the explosion in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
"I am shocked by the horrifying news of the explosion in Beirut and its devastating consequences. Our thoughts and prayers are with the fraternal people of Lebanon. Armenia is ready to provide immediate assistance to Lebanon and its people. The glory of Beirut will undoubtedly be restored," the Armenian Foreign Minister wrote on his Twitter account.
A powerful explosion shook Beirut on August 4, resulting in over 100 fatalities and more than 4,000 injuries, according to the latest reports. A day of mourning has been declared in the country on August 5.
