How Much Will the New Patrol Service Officers Earn
The Police of the Republic of Armenia has presented for discussion the new monthly salary scales for officers of the newly forming Patrol Service.
The Police stated that in order to enhance the attractiveness of the newly established Patrol Service, motivate officers, and ensure effective operations, there are plans to significantly increase the monthly salaries of new patrol officers and other related service personnel.
The current monthly salaries for junior inspectors in the Patrol Service, under the command of the Patrol Police Division of the Yerevan City Police and regional departmental units, for those with 0-2 years or 2-5 years of military service experience are set at 190,552 AMD and 192,921 AMD respectively.
If the proposed additional payments in the draft decision are approved, the monthly salaries for newly recruited junior patrol officers with the aforementioned service experiences will rise to 320,000 AMD and 325,584 AMD respectively.
The monthly salary for patrol officers with the rank of lieutenant and 2-5 years of service is proposed to be set at 371,373 AMD.
For patrol officers with the rank of senior lieutenant and 5-10 years of service, the monthly salary will be set at 402,181 AMD.
Additionally, patrol service personnel will receive monthly bonuses for quality service, calculated within the annual fund in accordance with the law, which ranges up to 30% of official salary scales.
