Extraordinary Incident: Drugs Concealed in a 'Kinder' Egg Attempted to Be Smuggled to Inmate via Drone

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, an extraordinary incident occurred today, August 2, in the Shirak region. Around 1:50 PM, staff at the ‘Artik’ penitentiary facility noticed a drone flying over the penitentiary grounds during their service.

The facility employees, following the drone's movements, observed that it was dropping an object between the checkpoint of building number 5 and the boiler room. Upon investigation, the correctional facility personnel discovered that the dropped item was a transparent plastic container, which contained an ‘Akhthamar’ cigarette box and another plastic yellow container that held a 'Kinder' egg sealed with adhesive tape.

Inside the facility, they opened the egg and found suspicious narcotics. After the incident, materials are being prepared at the ‘Artik’ penitentiary to determine who is responsible for attempting to smuggle drugs into the facility via the drone.
