Driver of BMW-X5 Crashes into Parked Opels in Ashtarak, Hits Three Pedestrians
Today, on August 2, an unusual incident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Shamshyan.com reports that around 00:45, a 29-year-old resident of Ashtarak, Agasi K., driving a BMW-X5, collided with two parked Opels on Mashtots Street.
Following that, he hit three pedestrians who were standing on the sidewalk next to the cars: 37-year-old Tigran V., 31-year-old Gagik B., and 31-year-old Hovhannes B., all residents of Ashtarak. The three were subsequently taken to the Ashtarak medical center with bodily injuries.
Officers from the 1st platoon of the 2nd company of the Road Police’s 2nd battalion arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Vache Malakyan. Senior investigator Vahagn Eloyan directed the investigative work at the site, where materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
Karen Gyulumyan, head of the 1-77 operational management center, informed the Ashtarak division of the police about the incident, and a patrol group arrived, headed by the head of the minors unit, Karapetyan.
