Car Accident on Ijevan-Berd Highway

On August 2, at 05:42, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident occurred at the end of the Aigehovit village. A vehicle had left the roadway and collided with an electric pole.

One emergency response team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Tavush regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a 'Mercedes Benz C' vehicle (driver: Anatoly A., born in 1986) had veered off the road at the 21st kilometer of the Ijevan-Berd highway and struck an electric pole, causing the pole to fall onto the car.

Rescue workers removed the pole from the vehicle. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
