The Director of Armavir Medical Center Infected with Coronavirus

The acting director of the Armavir Medical Center, Harutyun Zurnachyan, has tested positive for coronavirus.

In a conversation with ArmDaily.am, Zurnachyan confirmed the news about his coronavirus infection, stating that he feels well. "I am receiving treatment at home, and it is likely that I will return to work on Monday," he said.

When asked if he knew how and when he was infected, Zurnachyan replied, "I have always worn a mask and followed all anti-epidemic measures, but I don't know where I contracted the virus. Given all the precautions, if I contracted it, then something is not right."

He also mentioned that none of his family members have been infected. "The children have been in the village for about 10 days and are fine. I probably did not have contact with them, and my wife has been with me, but she has had no complaints up to this point."

The epidemiologist of the Armavir Medical Center, Ashkhen Poghosyan, noted that a total of 43 employees from the medical facility have been infected so far, with 4 currently receiving treatment, while the others have recovered and returned to work.
