David Tonoyan Receives Greek Chargé d'Affaires in Armenia
Defense Minister David Tonoyan received the Chargé d'Affaires of the Hellenic Republic in Armenia, Dimitros Felopoulos, and the military attaché of the embassy, Colonel Dimosthenis Simayakis.
During the meeting, the current state and achievements of Armenian-Greek bilateral cooperation in the field of defense were discussed, as well as the further development of this cooperation. The Greek side confirmed the continuation of military education and Greek language teaching programs.
Minister David Tonoyan emphasized the importance of conducting military-political consultations and expressed hope that the planned initiatives will be implemented in the near future.
Regional security issues were also discussed. The Armenian defense minister presented the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the destabilizing developments occurring in the region.
