Russia Ready to Provide Necessary Support to Stabilize Situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed concern over the sharp escalation of the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border on July 12.
“We consider further escalation unacceptable, as it threatens the security of the region. We urge the conflicting parties to exercise restraint and strictly adhere to the ceasefire,” the statement reads.
“The Russian Foreign Ministry is ready to provide the necessary support to stabilize the situation. According to available information, military operations are ongoing, including the use of artillery, with casualties and injuries reported. We extend our condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased,” the statement adds.
