Aliyev Says Armenians Haven't Moved an Inch Forward, I Say OK Dear: Karen Hovhannisyan

Turkologist and Kurdish studies expert Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: "Ilham Aliyev has convened a meeting of the Security Council, during which he boasted in his characteristic style. However, I don't want to go into details about that. Ilham Aliyev avoided mentioning the exact number of casualties. According to him, 'a few servicemen have died, and several others have been injured.' This is despite the fact that there is an official number of casualties.

I believe that Aliyev is intentionally speaking in a vague manner about numbers because it suits his interests. Then, the Supreme Commander of Azerbaijan states that Armenians haven’t moved an inch forward. It is right here that I say, 'OK dear.'"
