Caucasus Nature Fund to Provide Armenia with Half a Million Euros in Support
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, and the Executive Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund, George Jakomi, have remotely signed a new grant agreement aimed at supporting Armenia during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the agreement, in addition to the assistance provided to protected areas in Armenia, the Caucasus Nature Fund will allocate an additional half a million euros in budgetary support to the Armenian government. The grant will primarily focus on financing the Dilijan National Park, the Arpi Lake National Park, the Khosrov Forest State Reserve, and the Zangezur Biosphere Complex.
