Edmon Marukyan Demands His Party's Mandate from the CEC
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia is discussing the appeal made by Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the Bright Armenia faction, during its session today, July 8. He is demanding the allocation of a parliamentary mandate to the next candidate on LHK's electoral list in order to restore the constitutionally mandated ratio of ruling and opposition MPs in the parliament.
It is noteworthy that this pertains to the return of the 18th mandate of the Bright Armenia faction.
