We are considering maintaining rules after the state of emergency ends, including mask usage: Torosyan
“There is a need to extend the state of emergency in Armenia, but even after it ends, we will need legislative measures to ensure there is a legal framework for maintaining anti-epidemic rules in the country. Yesterday, the Prime Minister announced that, most likely, the state of emergency will be extended,” stated Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan during a press conference held shortly ago.
The minister noted that if the state of emergency ceases, we will have the ability to legally require our population to adhere to certain rules, such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, implementing various regulations for different economic operators, as well as establishing corresponding accountability measures. Because yes, we understand that a state of emergency cannot last forever.
