Construction of Martuni Medical Center Begins: Arsen Torosyan
The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, has announced that the construction works for the Martuni Medical Center have commenced.
“From July 2022, the newly built multi-functional medical center with a capacity of 65 beds will operate in accordance with international modern standards, providing extensive diagnostic and treatment services to the residents of the city of Martuni and the surrounding region in Gegharkunik Province.
The construction works of the Martuni Medical Center, based on a standard design, are being implemented under the "Disease Prevention and Control" program, funded by the World Bank. From the design phase to the completion of the center’s equipment, all activities are coordinated by the implementation office of the Ministry of Health,” Minister Torosyan stated.
