About 1 Million Drams is Spent for One Patient in Intensive Care: Minister
Approximately one million drams are spent for a COVID-19 patient in intensive care. Health Minister Arsen Torosyan stated this during a press conference today, July 7.
In response to the question of how much money is spent on treating one patient, the minister noted, “There is no answer to this question because patients are treated in different medical institutions, with different staff and different equipment.”
He also mentioned that expenses related to hospitals in the fight against COVID-19 have been incurred by both the ministry and the entire state apparatus, with funds coming from reserve funds and ongoing programs.
