‘I Gave a Suitable Slap to Someone in the Elevator’: Gevorg Petrosyan on Fines
Yesterday, without a mask, passport, or ID, I went down to the yard to retrieve my military ID from the car. This was stated by Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Prosperous Armenia faction, on his Facebook page.
He notably mentioned: “I didn't encounter any police on the road, but still, in the interest of justice, to uphold the principles of equality and the inevitability of responsibility before the law, I decided today to go to the police and get fined... I can't sleep from shame... Shouldn't the budget be filled?”
He added, “Besides, I won’t fall behind Daniel Ioannisyan. Along the way, I might also make a statement that I gave a suitable slap to someone in the elevator; perhaps they will also fine me for that. One way or another, investors will never come. Who wants to come and get tossed against the walls... We are supposed to be fined so that the budget can be filled... So, bam-bam-boom.”
