Interesting Developments at Sevan National Park SNCO
The newspaper "Joghvorud" reports that interesting developments are taking place at the Sevan National Park SNCO. First, the park's director, Vardan Vardanyan, has been dismissed. It appears that Vahe Jilavyan, who is carrying out the duties of the Minister, did not wish to continue working with the staff appointed by former minister Erik Grigoryan.
Following Vardanyan's dismissal, other employees of the SNCO have also begun to submit resignation letters.
It is worth recalling that on December 17 of last year, a competition was held for the vacant position of the SNCO's director, and as a result, the SNCO council voted in favor of Vardan Vardanyan among the nominated candidates. However, the candidates who participated in the competition were dissatisfied with the results and demanded the results be annulled. Despite this, Vardanyan continued to serve for several months.
Nevertheless, the newspaper "Joghvorud" spoke with the now unemployed director to inquire about the real reasons for his dismissal. It should be noted that this was a surprise for Vardanyan. "To be honest, I am currently unwell and lying down, but the term of my employment contract has expired and has not been extended. Naturally, it has not been extended by the employer, namely the ministry. It was a surprise for me until I received the notification. They simply informed me that the contract had not been extended. I would like to know what the issue was. After I recover, I will decide what to do," said Vardan Vardanyan.
Additionally, it should be noted that the SNCO’s directorate is currently being temporarily executed by the deputy, Arayik Hunanyan.
