French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe Resigns
French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe has submitted his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron.
“Édouard Philippe resigned from his position as head of government today; the president has accepted it,” stated a message released by the Élysée Palace.
He had held the position of Prime Minister since May 15, 2017.
