Daily Production of 2000-2500 Tests to Meet Demand in Armenia: Arsen Arakelyan

The Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology, Arsen Arakelyan, announced during a press briefing with the Prime Minister that the coronavirus tests produced at their center have passed trials and been validated.

The institute is now commencing full-scale production and will produce 2000-2500 tests daily to meet Armenia’s demand for coronavirus testing. The specialist also noted that they are preparing disinfectants and other materials in cooperation with other centers. Furthermore, the institute’s director informed that they are conducting molecular studies on the coronavirus to find a treatment.
