Ruben Hayrapetyan's Arrest Decision Remains Unchanged: Court Rejects Appeal
The RA Court of Cassation has upheld the decision of the Yerevan City Court to choose detention as a preventive measure for Ruben Hayrapetyan, whose case was appealed. This was announced by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
It is worth noting that Ruben Hayrapetyan has been involved as a defendant in a criminal case investigated by the Chief Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee concerning the executive body's head of the 'Harsnakar' restaurant-hotel complex, who allegedly committed abuse of power, illegally deprived him of his freedom, and caused him severe physical pain and mental suffering.
A motion was submitted to the Yerevan City Court for the selection of detention as a preventive measure, which was approved.
