Operations of Yerevan City Supermarket Branch Suspended for 48 Hours
The Healthcare and Labor Inspection Body has suspended the operations of the Yerevan City supermarket branch located at Tigran Mets 10 for 48 hours. This information has been confirmed by AALIB.
The suspension is based on the repeated violations noted by the operator, marking the second time this branch’s operations have been halted. Previous violations identified by AALIB had not been rectified, and at the time of suspension, further breaches were evident including crowdedness and inadequate mask-wearing situations.
The operator also failed to implement measures for managing the flow of people and did not ensure proper social distancing in queues outside the entrance, allowing entry only after a certain number of individuals inside had exited. Additionally, employees did not have individual lockers, and the requirement to serve only elderly customers from 10 AM to 12 PM had been violated.
