“Gabriel Balayan had contact with an infected person and has consequently isolated himself. He shows no symptoms, feels well, and continues to perform a significant portion of his duties through remote communication,” Stepanyan reported.
The spokesperson also mentioned that given the constant direct communication of the Ministry of Defense leadership with personnel across all branches of the Armed Forces, and to maintain the health safety of the Armed Forces' staff, the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces leadership undergoes testing periodically as stipulated by medical protocols.
