Anna Hakobyan Participates in Conference on Overcoming Covid-19
The wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, who is also the chairwoman of the boards of the 'My Step' and 'City of Smile' charitable foundations, participated in the conference titled 'Female Political Leaders as Champions for Testing: Test to Exit COVID-19' via video link on June 22.
The conference was organized by the 'G20 Health and Development Partnership', the 'Women Political Leaders' network, and the 'Innovative Diagnostics Foundation'. The aim of the conference was to unite the international community and female leaders in health and politics to share their experiences, offer advice, and demonstrate possible strategies for how countries can safely reopen during the Covid-19 pandemic and ensure that the public has access to new, simple, and affordable testing.
The speakers included: former Prime Minister of Senegal Aminata Touré, former Prime Minister of Norway Gro Harlem Brundtland, African Union Commissioner for Social Affairs Amira ElFadil Mohamed ElFadil, CEO of the Innovative Diagnostics Foundation Katarina Boehm, founder and president of the Women Political Leaders network Silvana Koch-Mehrin, and Executive Director of the G20 Health and Development Partnership Hatis Kuchuk.
