1000th Patient Discharged from the Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics

The Deputy Director of the Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Karen Poghosyan, made a post on his Facebook page, stating, "Today marks three months since the Scientific Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics was repurposed as a center for the fight against the new coronavirus. Summarizing the work of the team, I would like to mention that only Covid-19 positive patients have been treated in the center, the overwhelming majority of whom had pneumonia. 170 patients were in severe and extremely severe conditions. Today, we are discharging the 1000th recovered patient."

Poghosyan mentions that the center is the only one in the republic and perhaps in the region that, as a result of three months of work, has had no infected employees in its staff. "For this, we express our gratitude to the epidemiological service, especially to Doctor Margarita Vladimirivna Shadinyan. I thank the entire team. We are fighting together," the doctor wrote.
